How to attract talents for startup?

What is a better way to attract the BEST talent out there in the late stage startup/ big corporation to join early stage startup?
Is there better advertising channel than LinkedIn/ Indeed? lever dot co?

I m working for a startup whose “product” is information, Platform Data Analytics, we are building a simple-sounding yet TRANSFORMATIVE concept that will be radically changing business, the economy, and society at large.

Currently we have opportunities for multiple positions including front-end FULLSTACK (H-1B), MARKETING, visual DESIGN UX/ UI. We are starting in the West Coast, not too far from the bay and Seattle.

Ask me, help me and be friend with me, or troll me, mock me and I wouldn’t care. But if you want to grab serious professional opportunity in startup then dm me.

Lose the BS and explain what your software does. A good engineer will not apply if he doesn't understand what you're doing.

"Simple yet transformative", "radically changing society at large" are all giant red flags.

If you're not Bill Gates, you should definitely avoid phrases like "change how society does things".

Not too far from the Bay and Seattle? Which means it’s in neither of those?

Yeah, that’s the kicker. If what the company does won’t attract talent, then the location surely puts the nail in the coffin!

Oh, and every startup out there wants to change the world, transform the world for the better, etc. New college grads can get sucked into drinking that koolaid, but most experienced people will see it without the rose tinted glasses.

PS: your post (including the title) is riddled with typos. Hope your job descriptions aren’t riddled with them too, because they reek of the lingo used by Desi consultancy recruiters.

@JohnMcPee thanks for the constructive feedback. The company is in Portland, there is a great chance to move to the Bay in the near future.

    1. An accurate and precise description of what your product/company does and the problem you're trying to solve. No glorified heroic lingo please.

    2. Grounded and humble management with a clear vision and milestones. No one likes an authoritative ego maniac.

    3. Adequate compensation and equity ownership.

    4. Miscellaneous: vacation, company culture, work environment, interesting and challenging problems to solve.

    > “product” is information, Platform Data Analytics, we are building a simple-sounding yet TRANSFORMATIVE concept that will be radically changing business ...

This sound very generic, boring, and does not provide any information on what your startup is actually doing.
