Just got my first pre-tax signon ~70k, and I'm curious about the most efficient way to invest these money. Should I establish multiple checking accounts to earn new-account awards? Is it better to put these money into a single muni fund or to diverse portfolio? Expected expense: Tax ~15k 04/2020 Relocation 5k 01/2020 Buy house in 3-5 yrs TC: 230K Thanks!

VTSAX
I've been hearing about it lately, what's the benefit
Just buy VTSAX and forget about it.
I did some experiments and it seems that if you buy VTSAX at a random point in the past 14 years and sell it uniformly during year 3-4, your 95% expected return would be negative (-12%) tho has a high mean return. The return prob curve becomes flatter if you mix in 30% FGDAX, where 95% expected return would be 5%, with a tradeoff of lower mean return (25% vs 40%)
Invest in the stock which will have the most growth 5 years from now. It's a little known technique called MAP investing, most people don't know about it. The idea is that, in general, you want to invest in things that will grow in value over time, otherwise you end up with sub optimal returns.
Lol can’t tell if rowdyguy is trolling
What the heck is Map investing ?
