How's this offer for India ?
2 yoe, currently SWE1 at MSFT. How does this offer look ? TC~30 LPA. 22 (base) + 5.5(annual stock vest) + bonus. Base is around 33% higher than current base, but TC is only around 12-14% more than current TC at MSFT (taking MSFT stock appreciation into consideration). Thoughts ? Is this a good offer ? Company is not one of FAANG, Uber, LinkedIn.

If you are leaving MSFt for 12-14% hike, the company had better offer other things too like better work and growth opportunities. Otherwise, not worth it as 12-14% on your base isn't worth leaving MSFt for in itself.
Exactly my thoughts. MSFT India has a huge variety of teams to choose from when I get bored, new company probably doesn't have that wide fields of work.
If reason to switch is just hike, then wait for your promotion here, will get better deal
At 2 yoe, it doesn't make sense to move around companies for a slight increase in TC. Especially if you're moving from a company like Microsoft to a company that is not in the same league. What level are you currently on ? You'll easily hit 30 lpa TC if you become 61.
I agree. I'm leaning towards staying on. Will try to get them to improve the offer, but doubt the improvement will be worth leaving. Currently L60.
