I am a Network Engineer and I wish to relocate to Austin Texas from Ohio.

What is the best step to take. (1) Try to get a job in Austin and basically move there with Job already secured. (2) Save about 10-20,000 in cash move to Austin... Then begin job search and interview process. Background : Family unit consist of me...wife...2 year old child and one dog. Current pay: $70,000.
