I think the vandalism is awful, but I have to concede a certain hate for Tesla owners. They seem more insecure than your average guy-with-sporty-car, especially when they try to play the environmentally-friendly card.
It’s reflection of “hate” for Tesla and it’s owner that how there are people who would do this and it makes no sense as Tesla is an American company but guess those big truck owners feel small on road when these Tesla’s can just leave them behind in dust.
These are done by gas pump owners. More EV means less $. Why it’s hard to realize?
I dont think so. I rather see it a reaction from low income/angry/frustrated ppl trying to feel some relief from their struggles.. Owning a tesla is a very cliche trait of a certain kind of ppl.. No?

Fir the same reason diesel trucks would roll coal on Prius owners. The cars are symbols for the environmental concious which they correlate with the deomcrats and they hate progressives.
Exactly! No matter what, assholes will shit on what they perceive as the other side. This has always been the case, but it really does feel like people are deeply divided nowadays. I blame social media. Opinions (bad or not) now spread beyond the water cooler...

I don’t think there is a reason and whatever they say their reason is won’t be acceptable. It’s similar to why people steal, cheat, lie, commit fraud, etc etc. it’s the society we live in.
The reasons for lying, cheating may be wrong, but there are those. For this, i just don't get it. It's not like parking is so hard in Utah. And it's all these big truck owners, not regular sedan owners that are doing this.
