Recently got an offer from FB for an engineering role and the offer seems a low baller.Base at145k and 10% bonus with 65k stocks. Is FB normally try to low ball engineers and then try to work up the numbers? I told them that I draw more than that at my current job.
65k a year in stock right?? 65k total is straight up insulting.
225k. Not too bad.
What's the role exactly?
Are you in the US? $65k does not seem right...
If that stock is per year, that’s a decent offer.
What’s the title?
It’s for a Storage Engineer in the enterprise engineering team
It's probably cause it's IT that it's that liw.
It's closer to SRE or PE. Storage Engineer is probably administering and automating the enterprise (internal use) storage systems. Less coding than SWE, and more operational work, but it's not helpdesk or running cables across the office.
Base seems right. What’s ur yoe?
I have around 12 years
Base is good but stock is insulting, unless it's 65k per year?
