Ideas for how to make frozen veggies and brown rice taste better?

I’m cutting weight. I have all my macros and calories figured out for meal prepping, and am making decent progress with lifting and running. The pounds are slowly coming off. Despite having delicious seasoning mixes and marinades for the protein sources (chicken, ground bison, salmon, steak), brown rice and frozen vegetables taste so bland I want to shoot myself. Looking for ideas to make these things taste less sad.

paprika, salt + pepper, thyme or oregano, and if you're Indian, cumin.

Why eat frozen veggies? Fresh veggies taste great! Unless you’re also trying to cut cost

Bag of frozen medley of veggies is also convenient.

They’re cheaper and I can leave them in the freezer for a few weeks without them going bad.

Cut the carbs and incorporate more fats into your diet instead, it will help make your bland foods taste much better and will help you lose body fat faster

I personally think arugula with marbelled steak tastes amazing without any dressing needed :/ maybe cut out the brown rice if you don't like it?

What types of flavorings/seasonings do you like?

Why brown rice? If you enjoy white rice then replace it! They both have similar nutritional value and white rice is easier to digest as well. Add more fats - nuts, avocadoes etc. For carbs you can also try out sweet potatoes if you are bored of rice.

+1 to sweet potatoes

Nutritionally, brown rice is at a different level than white rice. Higher fiber content slows down the digestion. Also a lot of vitamins. White rice already has an insanely high glycemic index, need the slower digestion.

Skip the brown rice and do quinoa with some chicken stock for flavoring. Also look at riced cauliflower

Cook the brown rice in veggie broth!
