This house in my neighborhood sold for 700K+ more than what the sellers originally bought less than 3 years ago! Thoughts? Overpriced or justified?

    1.Too many it folks who dunno better way to put money in a good use. Wasteful demand == crazy supply
    2. Ca government keeps ruining the state with building and land restrictions. Look around, massive mess in LA, SF, here, everywhere they govern.

  • Damn, this is just a 5400 sqft lot ! Is the supply too less - why would a seller pay such high premium ?
    To compare, For this price (or even much lesser) I can get a 20000-30000+++ sqft grand house with pool in Short Hills, which is 30-40 mins train ride from NYC. One of the best school districts, and was I believe recently the 6th most expensive real estate area in the country

      Every year there is lottery in Fremont district to enroll in the top HS like Mission and American High. We live in Irvington area going to Irvington HS it is good enough already.
