In 2020 elections, what do think ?
It will happen again. Countries have always meddled in each other's politics. In 2004, world leaders promoted Kerry over Bush.
Blame Moscow Mitch for preventing election security bills from even being brought to discussion. Republicans have everything to gain from election meddling by foreign powers.
You mean like the Steele Dossier part 2? Outside of Scooby Doo, “meddling” has very little impact. The campaigns will be spending tens of billions of dollars and every study shows that money changes approximately zero minds; it’s moronic to think that foreign entities will have a significant impact on public opinion.
Meddling doesn't have to mean advertisement campaigns. The troll farms were designed to post emotionally charged comments on issues, to rile everyone up and get them to turn on each other. Get people to section off and form into teams. A divided American people are easier for foreign powers to manipulate in the future.
We do that just fine on our own without any foreign interference. It’s six sigma level of impact. Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be on guard for it, but the impact is vastly overblown by American politicians who profit off of “riling everyone up” and dividing us.
Yes there will be interference from Mexico and Central America by dumping their poor and illiterate into the United States.
