Interracial dating
As a black man, I'm certainly not complaining about this, but I have noticed that white women in Seattle are really into black men. Is it because we're so rare here, especially well educated successful black men?
Maybe. Just keep in mind that a relationship in which you’re fetishized gets old quick.
For a non-diverse city, Seattlites are fairly color-blind. Passive aggressive as hell, but not racist.
Well the vast majority of white women prefer and exclusively date white men, but obviously there are plenty of exceptions. I do agree that minority men do better with white women in cities where they are a lower % of the population. For example, my Asian friends in NYC and Chicago do far better with white women than my Asian friends in Seattle and SF.
Times have changed and I believe that a majority of white women will date a guy of a different ethnicity if they like him. ‘Exceptions’, by their very definition are rare and cannot be plenty.

Outside of self reports most research has said there isn’t much of any correlation.
