Is it bad news? https://www.marketwatch.com/story/intuit-ceo-and-cto-plan-to-step-down-stock-falls-2018-08-23
I love Mint app.
No. It isn’t. We have skilled talent stepping up. Brad has been here for 11 years. He’s ready to move on. There is nothing fundamentally different going on here. Stock price being up today confirms this
New CEO is likely to be great for technology and data teams. It’s going to be a positive and expecting us to be more nimble and making new pushes into international countries to grow there.
I think the people who are worried about the transition are worried about having to sharpen their skill sets. Dead weight has to go.
Yeah all this managing up and talking things to death needs to go. When there’s a push to get things done quicker and pressure, eventually the dead weight will go.
Wait and see. Post 2019 Tax Season will be a good indication of how we will tread in the next few years. Lots of smart people stepping up. High stock price, happy investors and RSUs.
It’s good news. I left TurboTax because they refused to fix issues related to prior years tax returns and wanted to charge me money for providing them. Complaining about the poor service fell on deaf ears. Hopefully the new CEO/CTO will clean up the mess called TurboTax
What was the issue with PY returns ? Did they only want money or did you pay and could still not use them?
They wanted me to pay for the prior years returns and were unable to find them. Then they said I had two accounts and they were unable to reconcile them. I got tired of the back and forth and even went to a job search event on Intuit campus to complain and they assured me it would be taken care of and nothing happened after that. That was when I switched to Block Advisors
The stock was up $4.xx during the day and up $0.5x after close. WTF MW!
Bad news!
Good news, especially about CTO.
CTO was not good. CEO was and is very good. He will still be board chairman. No problem there.
Kinda gives me that Enron feel.
Why?
