What does that mean ? Espp is not rsu . You get stock at 15% discount which you can immediately sell . What’s not to like .

I think most tech companies is the 15% off the price at the beginning or end of period. Ours is.

25k a year. $12.5 for the 6 month period. Number is set by the irs. You can contribute up to $10625 per period, but purchasing power is 12500. 12500 - 15% = 10625
      Nov 16
    • 12500 * 15% = 10625 ?
What kind of meth do you use (pun intended)?

Minus the 15%. Very tough meth!

Yes, I am always surprised how many people don’t max this out.... It is guaranteed money and 6 months is the longest you wait for a return...

It's not actually guaranteed to profit. But it generally does.

    • Salesforce benimeoff
Actually 15% is guaranteed if you sell right at vest

If the stock truly plummetted, the 15% discount could still be higher than your entry point.

    • Salesforce benimeoff
The discount is applied to the lowest value of the start and end of the 6 months. So if the stock plummets they would use the current plummeted value and discount it 15%. So, as long as you sell the day it vests 15% IS guaranteed.

Guaranteed minimum profit of the discount ^. The entry point is the lowest point. Probably why more people don’t max it out, they don’t know this

    One of the best IMO

It’s a no brainer, all ESPP with discount is good because the worst case is 15% free money

It’s an amazing benefit. 15% off of the price of the previous purchase period has, at times, yielded me nearly 50% off market price at time of purchase.
