Is apple hiring software engineers? Do they have a temp freeze?
I am working for intel in sw dev from last 2 years. I have recently applied for few roles at apple. I am yet to hear from them. Is there any temp hiring freeze or do they not hire sw devs from intel 🤣
I am 2 years into my role at intel. Fortunately i am getting to work on more generic software development. Have been building an application from scratch. I hope i will get contacted by some recruiter from apple.

A lot of Apple interviewers actually like intel sw engineers. I interviewed quite a few. We all really like them but didn’t hire them. intel engineers are usually good at what they are doing, and their work is solid. But the downside is they are often too deep into what they are doing and they only get to work on a very small piece, many Apple first level managers like to hire more generic type engineers, so the engineers can change directions or projects whenever the managers need to grab the new lands or grow.
