Been on Wayfair's B2C team for a hot minute now, the pay is ~$45-50k take home/year after bonuses. Is it a waste of my time, is there much progression for me, or are there bigger and better things out there?
What’s the gross pay? That’s a better gauge
What exactly is hot minute for you, what's YOE?
This is the lowest comp I have ever seen on blind
Yoe doesn’t change much in sales/retail non-tech job unfortunately unlike our eng.
I think it's probably 90k+ of gross income, which is not too bad for business side.
Assuming you are in sales as per caption...Take some associates degree or higher in education, something in administrative or supply chain to augment what you learned so far. You can do better if you will be equipped, good luck 👍
Well, is it like 90K+ gross though?!
Nope. About $65k
Idk people on blind are braggy and numbers are huge. I made the same when working in finance while pursuing bachelor's. Climbed closer to 100k three years after graduating. I consider your situation quite good. This would be an unpopular opinion here.
No wonder there was a walk out.. who would want to work here 🤔
Not every job is an engineering job
Wayfair is always gonna pay less than other companies, honestly. They’re terrible with competitive wages. Just start looking on job sites and see what you’re qualified for, doesn’t have to be one of the big companies. Anyone can probably pay better and give you a job that helps you progress more in your life.
No disrespect, but there are definitely bigger and better things out there
Our CS Reps at eBay are making about 40-50k a year to talk to customers.
But how much take home? Probably less than $10k
