Heard from a friend of mine at JPMC that their leadership has given them strict instructions to NOT to refer or NOT to recruit anymore Indian citizens in the name of so called ‘Diversity’. If any non Indian citizen with mediocre performance in the recruiting process is easily selected. A great opportunity to land a job at JPMC for all non Indian community?
You mean they want to diversify their workplace so it's not just h1bs from India? Hiring bar probably isn't lowered, although it was never high for chase lol.
Cool story bro.
Some one is on high
Dont wanna end up like infosys
JPMC, Morgan Stanley are shit firms, if you think you "as a Indian working in Indian office", you are earning good? You're wrong, you are in pennies for them, their business runs in Dollars. You earn shit because ruppees is devalued. JPMC is one of the crony, most disgusting and underpaying firms in US. No one bats an eye as a software engineer to work in these firms once you graduate with Masters in US. Because, they are shit.
Calling an Indian in tech a "diversity hire" was and is BS
More like a "majority hire"
Although I don’t trust OP, this story is unavoidable consequence of the shit happening with Indian invasion in tech. It should happen sooner or later.
You've got to be kidding me. Everybody on my team except me is Indian. They hire more Indians than all non-indians combined.
What's wrong with that?
Really ?
Leadership is probably 100% Indian too
