Jpmorgan annual bonus and raise !
Have any one heard about not having annual salary bump this year in Chase? I've been told that this year chase have changed their way to analyze annual increment and divided into categories for the ppl in same band making from lower end to higher dollar amount. I just completed first year with chase and was hired at 602 band in digital. After the annual review I've been told that I'm not given any raise since I'm already making 10% more on average in my group. On the annual review, I met goals and landed at meet. This is the first time I'm hearing this crazy criteria and not sure if some one also heard the same or came across such a thing like this?
They give all kinds of reason to short change. It’s a finance company in the end doubt they’ll ever pay tech workers the way tech companies would
Bonus is gonna be light this year all around due to recent market performance. I was speaking with my private client banker about this the other day.
I was expecting some decent bonus because of the money they made but unfortunately they disappointed in that corner as well by giving just 5%.

Market performance wasn’t adequate to give out good bonuses/salary increases in Digital since they didn’t meet expectations for the year. Unless you’re in a PDP, you didn’t get much of a raise in Digital
I don't know about Chase, but if everyone earning lower in my team got rises and I didn't because I had a higher starting salary .... and crucially - I had proved I was *well worth* that higher salary, I'd be strongly suggesting they rethink that system and looking elsewhere in the meantime.
