Lack of time for LC or system design? Are you interested in group study? That can save time speed up the progress?
Hello. I do develop decent backend applications. But, I am not such a brilliant guy to solve all LC problems in 30 mins or 1 hour. I may waste a few hours to solve it but sometimes I can't solve at all. I end up seeing the solution. I have not studied CTCI or EPI Java or Grokking the coding interview patterns or system design yet.
My LC count is 60+. Half easy and half medium and a very few hard.
I didn't wait for my preparation to end. I just started a few months back and I did quite a number of interviews but no offer yet. I failed in 7 onsite interviews and numerous phone interviews and 2nd phone or 3rd phone interviews.
I can see a progress in myself and I am in a much better state than I was when I started. But the progress speed is slow because I don't solve problems every other day or I don't get time.
I want to study CTCI, EPI Java, Grokking the coding patterns and system design completely or as much as needed and then start solving more LC problems and take system design problems. But, I don't have enough time with family and work.
Do you wanna join me to do these as a group activity? We can form a group and strategize how we can effectively complete these faster as a team. I can learn a pattern and you can learn a pattern and we can teach other. That saves a lot of time. We can time each other to stop each other to not waste time sitting on the same problem. We can share our real interview experiences more closely and learn from each other. It doesn't have to be 1 on 1. It can be a group. Let's say - If we form a team of 10 and sit on a weekend or weekdays for a few hours, we all 10 can teach 1 thing to others in detail. We will have learned 10 things in a few hours. We can revise. We can interview each other. Basically help and motivate each other or anything that can each other to progress further.
Thank you in advance! What do you think?
