I’ve interviewed at quite a few tech companies including Amazon and Google and I’ve only seen 1 person with a non-Apple laptop (Granted I didn’t try for Microsoft). Does anybody here use any other hardware? If so why? For the one guy I know it was a philosophical reason.
Plenty of people at Google use Pixel books now, but that's very recent. Crappy MBP keyboards are not good

Does Amazon allow you to put Linux on your PC?
I don't use Mac, OSX is a wack Unix system. All the cool tools for serious devs show up in Linux first. Macs are also overpriced and have tons of issues. My main laptop are always thinkpads.
Mac price doesn’t matter much if your company is buying it. Also, please tell me what “serious” tools you’re talking about
