LinkedIn interview

I had interview at LinkedIn. All rounds went well. The design round was maybe my weakest. There were two coding rounds. The problems were solved by me within 30 mins. They seemed happy about my solutions. However, I am not sure about my system design round. How is performance evaluated? Can I still pass if my design was not ideal?

Already asked and don’t feel like asking again. I thought I did well. They all seemed happy during coding :(

Only you can tell us the result. But I would say it depends on the level you are applying. I bumped one and only one coding interview and did well on all others. Had 3 rounds of system design. Didn’t get an offer. I was interviewing for their staff position.

Have heard too that the Staff interviews for external candidates are tough

Initially, the recruiter didn’t even let me apply for staff until I insisted very hard. He said it requires 8+ years of experience. I have 6 years of experience. I told him nobody looks at years of experience in this field beyond a point.

It was really an easy one :) that’s why I feel anxious about the result. DM me

Only two coding problems? Damn I need to try going to LinkedIn. Sounds a lot easier than google

Not two coding problems. Two coding rounds.

If you did really badly you will no pass. If you did only slightly badly and well on the others you may pass.
