LinkedIn offer sanity check
3 yoe, leveled as SWE, Sunnyvale 155/220/50 I’ve seen higher numbers on here, so I’m wondering if this is average? Team and manager seem good just want to check numbers.
How was the process for you?
It was good. I had domain knowledge, leetcode, system design. and behavioral interview rounds. All questions were fair and achievable, no tricks required. I thought all my interviewers would be good people to work with. Overall good process.
Did you have other offers ? Looks pretty high. How did you negotiate?
I initially set recruiter expectations based on numbers I saw here. The recruiter came back with slightly lower numbers, but I didn’t have any real leverage to negotiate with.

You could have gotten senior if you did well. But it looks good for swe
Yes I tried for senior, but didn’t make it unfortunately.
Are they offering any yearly bonus?
10%. So tc comes to ~225.
Pretty insane, 210k TC is very high for 3 years of professional experience. Take it.
