TC question at MS L65 in Seattle Verbal offer at L65 is 200k base / 300k rsu/ 100k sign on and 72k refesher. Recruiter is telling me bonus target is 40% as is refresher target of 72 for L65. This doesn’t seem right to me based on what I’ve seen - 20% and 36k targets. I have a second offer coming from Lyft - got in as E6. TC will be over 500k, but need to move to the bay. I’m leaning towards Lyft but worried about stability - any thoughts?

Msft tc is lower than your current tc. Show them your Lyft one and ask for more stock 400k and sign on 200k
Yes, it is lower based on what I know on Blind (ie, bonus target). It is higher based on what recruiter is telling me (albeit he’s pretty awful). He’s telling me they won’t use Lyft as comparable and this is likely best and final. Not sure how to respond. Per your comment, if it’s lower, they wasted my time, and that’s even more infuriating.
Just tell recruiter stop bs, this is even lower than your current tc let alone Lyft. Msft tc structure is well known and use 200% as target is unprofessional. You love msft so if they could improve to ... you will join.

No, L65 target refresh is 36k and target bonus is 20%. Recruiter just bs
this
Maximum you can get is 180% of the target. They are telling you that as the target.
