MS Level 64 Salary
Expecting an offer from Microsoft for Level 64 in India. What are Sr SDE at level 64 and principals at 65 getting paid? Usual Perf hike and RSUs? And, how best can an offer be made if i share Amazon offer with MS? YOE: 11.5 yrs

Sure. I was interviewed for Sr positions in each. Qs i had were focussed on Design - System Design, HLD and then LLD along with DS, Algo. I was asked to hand code in almost each round and present DS. In Amazon, they also look out for leadership principles, attributes being exhibited by a candidate in each round like Insisting on high quality, invention, dealing with ambiguities, scalable sols as well. You shall be crystal clear when presenting a design, shall be able to tell why you designed that way, relevance of each component. And in order to do that, do try to understand the problem Statement well by asking questions. Its usually a discussion which exhibits your way of thinking.
on coding, are leetcode like problem solving the way to go? or is it different, being more general in nature?

Afaik you need to be Principal+ (L65+) to hit 1 cr in India. I guess it might be possible at L64 if you had joined back when stock was super low thanks to appreciation. Not sure though.
Yes. MS is paying well these days. Break can be 50 base 200k$ stocks, 7-8 lac Sign On. Can you share your Amazon offer breakup?
