I want to work for Microsoft and I got used to a Mac for sometime now. How do I get over the feeling that Mac is superior to PC when it comes to development. It’s not about the hardware but mostly the UI and terminal.
Think about gpus and how sucky Mac is for deep learning.
Apply for a iOS developer position, you’ll have to use a Mac.
I'm not a huge Xamarin fan, but they cracked the have to have a Mac to build an iOS app. The way they did it is pretty cool, so props for figuring that out.
What? When did this happen? Even with xamarin, you need separate build server for ios. Live player now is a big of a hack
The ux on max OS is pure shit.
Microsoft gives a Mac to developers who ask for it, they don’t force their employees to use their product. You can clarify in the interview if you don’t trust.
Cool. But is .Net Core usable on Unix already?
Yes, we all have Macs and PCs on my team and use .NET Core
