Maintaining level of pay as you move up/switch companies.
I’m entry level at MS with a TC of 190, I’m worried about realistically maintaining my salary, and comparably growing it as I move up. I already feel I am starting off with more responsibility, which I enjoy. Can I realistically expect promotions to increase my salary substantially, or will some places pass over me because of budget, and get someone “cheaper” instead?
I am new to the corporate world, it’s my first FTE job.
