How common is it for a manager to check his direct reports' FB profile or be connected on it? How do you feel about it? I find it pretty invasive and judgemental because I don't want any biases or judgements to creep in, unnecessarily. Do you think it's a very bad thing to do? Or, is it just another common practice of the American corporate socialism?
Delete FB profile - problem solved.
Always expect someone will watch your social media and judge you. If you're worried about how something you post will be perceived, don't let it be visible on your wall to everyone.
Why would you add work people on Facebook?
My VP added me so I had to oblige. Np. Haven't posted in it for 2 years
No, you did not have to oblige. 🍆
Isn’t there a thing called Facebook privacy settings ?
Thought everyone’s party pics were on the ‘gram now lol
Nah man, shitty nasty party pics are reserved for Snapchat now
So why the hell did you friend him again?
I never did. In fact, my first two managers have blocked me from sending them any friend requests. Both if them independently - they don't know each other.
