Mba for pm at Facebook
Do you think mba’s from top schools do better as product managers at Facebook? Do they have better career opportunities than those without an mba?

MBA isn't a requirement (at Google or Facebook) but surely helps. PMs are required to make business related decisions a d having either an MBA or previous experience communicates that skill set.

Hi, Can you pls tell what courses in MBA would help in making business decision - i just skimmed thru coursework in M7, but they all look not related to tech.
Not at Facebook. Fb and Netflix don’t care about mbas Google and amazon care Microsoft cares a little
MBA is not required for PM at Amazon although the career path from MBA to L6 PM is well established/would be easy m. Harder as an industry non-MBA candidate.
Certainly not required. At amazon, 27 year old mba grads become L6. They care and want to retain mbas and pay them pretty well.
