    Meds for "burnout" don't exist. Get away from work, find something that recharges you and do it.

      I would encourage you to work out the organic chemistry yourself, if you believe that a drug specifically designed to release storehouses of seratonin doesn't act to deplete seratonin. Yes, there are ways to separately provide your body with the nutrients it needs to produce and store seratonin, but MDMA on its own has a net negative effect on that resource that cannot be ignored.

    Talk to your primary care physician. If you do not have a therapist or psychiatrist, take the time to find one. Take some of your accrued leave, and go somewhere to truly take a break. Doing whatever it takes to avoid burn-out is a worthwhile investment into your long-term career. Do not take short cuts.
