I have 1 more h1b attempt left 1) Microsoft Azure, Redmond Lvl-60: TC: 148k (123k + 12.5k stocks/yr + ~12.5k performance bonus 10%) Pros: - Better pay & no state taxes Cons: - not sure if they will move me to Canada in case if my h1b was Not seleted next year 2) Current TC: 126k (Bank of America, nyc) Pros: - good wlb - my manager really wants me to stay here, but unable to match the TC as that is the max pay for my level - gave assurance that he will transfer me to Canada & get back me here on L1B/H1B

Go to Microsoft after talking to manager recruiter of what happens if you don't get h1 Microsoft generally would take care of you. Also with current h1 rules, I'd bet getting an h1 with a higher base pay has more chances to someone with a lower pay.
Ask if they will be willing to transfer you. Most teams are. The only person I know who had to interview for a Canadian team to move to Vancouver was on a hardware team so it was hard to work remotely. Source: I just moved back from Vancouver.
