I went for onsite interview a week ago. My onsite interview (6 interviews) went well. I also received email back from recruiter and he/she wanted to schedule a time to talk about the result, however she didn’t call at scheduled what does this mean?
It means the recruiter is a tool
Perhaps something came up. Did you follow up?
Which team you interview with. This time of the year most teams might take few more weeks to revert
Azure team
Ping the recruiter he might 2 to 3 weeks
Most likely a busy day, think nothing of it, but follow-up. If weeks later, then they might be delaying to interview additional candidates, which is fair, but annoying.
Microsoft has one of the worst recruitment processes ive ever had the misfortune of dealing with
Recruiters suck. Mine ghosted on me until I cc'ed the hiring manager while asking for an update after I hadn't heard from her in the two weeks since the verbal offer and boom written offer showed up within 30 minutes.
That's good advice. People think that the recruiter and the hiring manager are both 100% focused on their particular case. News flash, they're not. Emailing like this will bring attention, and usually get the ball rolling again.
What team?
Azure team
I second that. Microsft recruiters are terrible. I have to schedule my own phone screens and make sure candidates are followed up with. Also make sure you negotiate well. If candidate is solid push recruiter into third tier of stock offering.
My mice recruiters were awesome. Told me a verbal offer in the next business day after onsite
It's a bad recruiter
