The title says rethinking hiring in developer division, but the article talks extensively about PMs. Is this a PM-specific process? I'd imagine for devs, you still get the typical "invert a binary tree" type questions?
I read about how Microsoft is doing this in Bloomberg or some other REAL news source. If this applies to software developers, then this could potentially increase the pool of "qualified" people for the entry level engineering position... But, wouldn't this make it easier for somebody without the required skillset for being a Sr. SDE or higher to get into one of those roles that they wouldn't actually be qualified for? Regardless, it sounds like this will require even more homework... which makes qualified engineers like me even less likely to even consider applying to Microsoft. TL;DR: short MSFT shares
It’s a move in the right direction
Remember the Rule of Stock. If you're not of their preferred stock, then it won't make a damn of difference. Instant rejection and masochism. Also, our people were tortured if they were caught reading. You have had the ability to read for generations, yet you failed so horribly that you somehow think this article applies to software developers - I'm shocked.
Oh man, your garbage posts include visuals now!
They said those words behind my back in interviews too. Calling me and my efforts garbage. You know what? You didn't choose who to be born as. You cannot have true superiority over others as if you "earned" your stripes. Because you didn't do shit. You had 0 influence just like I did. Stop your bragging.
