Its like a full background check form + immigration questionnaire even before an offer can be discussed !!! I’m on H1B and want to know if other H1Bs at Microsoft filled in every detail on that thing ? Does gaps ( 1-3 months ) in employment affect ones eligibility ? Do I need to jot down duties and H1B validities for all jobs I’ve had ?
So what, fill and submit. If they reject you based on immigration status I am sure there's many others that will have you. I never understood what's so great about being one of the many faceless drones at FAANG anyway, instead of working somewhere where you'd be treated as more than just a cell in an Excel spreadsheet
That doesn’t answer any of my questions but sure ....
After the interview, If Microsoft asks for that detailed immigration details even before any hint about their decision, could this be taken as a positive sign?
In a similar position, I haven’t heard back but was sent this questionnaire to be filled. What does that mean? How long till I receive an offer if it’s positive?
I asked them if it's ok to fill out the form after I have received the offer and they were ok with it.
Not in my case ... they said they needed me to submit it with all details before they can proceed with the offer
