Hello people, I have an offer from Microsoft Vancouver. Base: 135k What should be my monthly take home? I need to understand this before accepting the offer. Thanks!
Why don’t you use an online tax calculator
I have done it but someone from Microsoft can probably give a more exact figure. Since there are components like CPP and EI contribution. I don't know if online calculator are exact.
Why don’t you ask the recruiter
I was hoping I can get more frank answer here.
Great question to ask during your interview!
Note that there are ESPP and 401k deductions and medical deductions. At least in US. Also put aside some for hokers. Thus monthly after everything will be well under 50%
Anyone from Microsoft Vancouver?
Every answer other than ‘tax calculator’ would need a ton of extra info. Legal plan? High / low 401k contributions? Participating in ESPP? After-tax retirement investment? Supplemental insurance? High value spouse life insurance?
Why do you need the take home pay to decide on offer? Are you in a different country currently? To calculate take home pay we would need your mortgage or home loan details, filing status age of kids and whether you consider hsa and 401k as savings or locked
There are calculators online which will do the calculations pretty accurately.
