Moving to Google Hiring Committee

I am moving to HC and am frankly nervous at the laissez-faire aspect of the rest of the Google interview process. After both of my interviews, I got contacted within 72 hours and told I was moving to the next step. Additionally, I stopped an interviewer in my second interview from asking the same coding question that I got in my first round interview (which I've heard looks good in the HC). What is the likelihood of making it through HC and executive approval? Recruiter said 50/50 but that's kind of crazy considering how far you have to go to even make it to this point...

I’d say 70:30

The recruiter has probably seen your feedback. We have not.

Until you are extended an offer, you can be denied. HC can approve you, but once it goes to the compensation committee, they can deny you as well if they feel you are not worth the pay. So there recruiter is correct it's 50/50 until you are offered. Im a xoogler recruiter, so I have seen it all!

“Additionally, I stopped an interviewer in my second interview from asking the same coding question that I got in my first round interview (which I've heard looks good in the HC)” Interesting, same thing happened to me

Executive approval is a formality under L5. My recruiter told me it's around 50/50 passing HC.

I used to be a Cisconian! Thank you for that, it confirms what I was thinking about executive approval
