Which role to choose? Msft SE II L62 vs Goldman Sachs VP
What are the offers lol
loool VP
Remember that anyone with 5 years of experience is a vice president in GS. It's a joke. I would choose MSFT any day. If you are leaving Amazon for GS you are really making a big mistake.
Why are you leaving Amazon?
Wlb and looking for a change
GS is infamous for WLB, MS is famous for WLB - you figure
Holy shit, VP? What comes next, Supreme Commander?
TC ?
What’s the tc comparison?
Man I don’t get you guys, banks have been calling mid level staff VP for years, so what.
I agree, to me it seems like everyone working at a tech firm thinks having these levels is the greatest thing. Yes banks have allot less levels and the titles don’t match up with tech firms, but this is to be expected as these titles are firm wide across more than just technology The benefit is that your comp range can be much larger and you don’t have to worry about making the next level to get paid more. I am not sure how the promotion process works at tech firms but I wouldn’t want to have that tied to how much I get paid
Those tech people live in their delusion that they are center of the world
Goldman Sachs and their title inflation? 😂
