My coworker watches Netflix all day
My coworker spend all day watching Netflix or Hulu, shopping or on social media. She barely gets any work done is always late and often comes in hungover. My boss rewards her with a raise. While I bust my ass working and coming in early to be told that I am just doing what I am supposed to do and you guessed it, no raise.

Option 1 — You confront your boss with the exact facts above. Keep it factual and leave emotional or subjective statements out of it. Be prepared for blowback especially if your boss gets defensive or is emotionally immature. Option 2 — You vote with your wallet and LC hard and leave. Ideally, you will do both 1 and 2. If your boss bullshits you and tries justifying your coworker’s behavior, leave. Or if she says she will “look into” giving you a raise as well without providing a timeline or specifics, leave as well.
Leave that toxic company and culture.
