Got into Facebook while working with a company for fifteen days. I hadn’t mention in my resume that I was working with a company and neither was I asked about my current status.

While discussing about my joining situation, I had to tell my hiring manager that I am
working currently. He asked me about which company I am working with?

Do you guys think It can create problem of any sort? I haven’t lied any where. Just that when I was asked for my resume from the employer, I wasn’t working and while interviewing I was working. Any leads from people who are at hiring manager roles.

So when the recruiter from Facebook asked me for my updated resume, I was jobless. While interviewing with the company Facebook, I had a job in hand which had started a week back. In the interview process none of them asked me about my current status. Now while discussing about the joining situation with my hiring manager, he got to know that I am working with a company.
Now my question is “is it a problem if the hiring manger gets to know that I am working with a company which wasn’t put in the resume or I am planning to leave a company in just fifteen days”?

You might need to explain it if it comes up in a background check and it wasn't on your application, but im sure this happens often enough to not be an issue.

You just tell the same shit to everyone going forward. No job when applied. Now got job while interviewing. And be clear about if you’d be joining new FB team and why so? Given you just committed elsewhere.

It is ok. It's normal. People get hired on middle. Just tell them truth

As a hiring manager I would be worried about your judgement and would ask why you are considering FB after just joining another company. If you don’t give a straight answer I’d pass.

Ya I will say no problem always better to tell the truth so later during background verifications it’s not an issue

I am a hiring manager and I would understand if you explained to me and I would not have any issue with it.

Focus on the reason and value you bring to that role and be able to articulate why you left last role. Be straight and clear.

Its no big deal now, but assume it will become clear one way or another, so just be transparent upfront to avoid it becoming a problem later on.
