150 is good for new grad. Ask for 200

Would that be too aggressive at this stage? (haven't done onsite/gotten offer yet)

Ask for it OP. Better to aim high and miss than aim too low and land in the shit.

"It's still early to discuss comp right now because Im looking for a place where I can fit in, learn a lot and really excel. Comp comes second to that. I'll know more about whats fair once we move forward and I meet your team."

Don't name a number. You'll regret it. Tell them you expect to be paid market value and commensurate to the value you hope to bring. And even if they come in super low, it can always be changed. While negotiating with Google I refused to name a number, they offered me a small amount, and they ended up more than doubling their offer in the end.

Thanks for the advice! Can you give an example on how to effectively "commensurate to the value you hope to bring"? Is that just highlighting what my past experiences can bring to the table?

I mean literally say something vague like that. The best time to talk comp is after they want you and when you have other offers in hand (if you can get them!).
