In what ballpark is the salary of a new grad PM (product manager) @your company?
approximately same as dev, maybe a little more.
Exactly same as new grad dev. 108k base. 70k stocks over 3.5yrs.
New grad and you want to be a PM? Learn some basics and then get into product mgmt.
60-70 if at all if I hire such candidates at first place for such roles.
~150-170K in Bay Area: ~120K base -60-120k stocks over 3.5 years -0-50k sign on (pretty hard above 30k without competing offers) -target 10% bonus but likely more as it’s pretty easy to beat target at entry level
Yelp APM was 125k base, 25k annual rsu, 10k signing
Are we just assuming OP is in Bay Area? Yuuuge difference elsewhere
OP is in Bay Area
But also open to know the compensation else where
LA ~ 80k, 10% bonus maybe 15k RSUs. new grad PMs are nearly unheard of. Most start as Business Analysts or Product Owners.
Yahoo APM is 125k base, 50k annual rsu, 30k signing
That’s a lot for a new grad with no experience. Are you guys minting ?

Workday salaries are very low. How do they attract top talent?
Seems like they attract folks that want a less aggressive workplace. There’s extremely cushy work life balance and good benefits, and people generally get along with each other and with management.
