I am a. Net Developer with Azure experience for a little over 4 years now. I am planning to apply for MS as that is the largest company who hires .Net developers I guess. I think my experience matches with them. I am on H1 work visa now, so have to look for sponsorship too.

Will start LC and CTCI soon.

Can you guys give me any suggestions! Thanks!

I had mostly .NET experience and interviewed with amazon and google. Just learned enough Java for the interview and used that. They didn’t care. Just sayin, you don’t have to pigeonhole yourself.

Thanks. You get 100k after the consulting company takes their cut? How much do you pay for health insurance?

I wouldn’t go by the difficulty levels. Do the top interview questions and then you’ll get more idea which topic (graphs/ LL/ trees) to follow

Apply everywhere, top companies don't care about .net or whatever as long as you have done meaningful projects.

I should say have not done a lot of stuff outside work. So, may be I have to start now. Just did few small things here and there, nothing robust.

Depends on the project and team. Some teams use very old technologies and some are almost up to date. And some teams have very little development. So make sure you find out what you want.

    1. Leetcode
    2. Don't limit yourself to .net (no matter how awesone c# is), learn in Java or python because a)msft don't care much(at least from what I've seen) b)you'll have more exposure and be more comfortable in interviews with non-.net shops
