Trickle down economics yaay

IBM ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿโ“‚๏ธ Feb 6, 2018

Lol, nothing to do with the stock market.

Amazon gfd56uj Feb 6, 2018

Really? So Trump just borrowed a trillion dollars so he could hand it out to people, and you don't think that might just be why people are worried about inflation?

Microsoft sqiF24 Feb 6, 2018

If today is like friday and monday it'll be triple down economics.

Microsoft i <3hooker Feb 6, 2018

You guys are idiots. This is a blip.

Blip yes, but strange how the last time this blip happened was in September of โ€˜08. I wonder if thereโ€™s anything in common

Microsoft i <3hooker Feb 6, 2018

There's pretty much nothing in common. No over leverage, no bad debt.

Microsoft ________ Feb 6, 2018

look at the history of market resets. its every 7-8 years. we were over do.

Amazon gfd56uj Feb 6, 2018

Yeah? Nothing to do with Trump? You guys were giving him credit just for getting elected. Now when a crash immediately follows the only new policy he enacted you say it's just bad luck on the timing, happens every 7 or 8 years? I have never seen a more determined effort to ignore the facts.

Microsoft ________ Feb 6, 2018

The economy doing well is Trump. The stock market resetting is do to a healthy market from Trump. we all said it would reset to a new base then climb from there.

Microsoft 20% raise Feb 6, 2018

The market isn't going to crash. The economy is doing just fine, and interest rates must remain low.

Amazon gfd56uj Feb 6, 2018

But they won't remain low, the tax cut will pump borrowed dollars into the economy creating extra money but no extra value. More money chasing the same number of goods means inflation. Inflation means rising interest rates. Tax cuts need to be done at the right time, when the economy needs a boost, where the extra dollars will be used to employ more people. Doing it at a time like this is a waste.

Microsoft 20% raise Feb 6, 2018

You're assuming no additional value is being produced. This isn't entirely true, but I agree we will see more inflation. The feds won't let nominal interest rates rise because they can't afford it. Inflation doesn't necessarily cause higher nominal interest rates. It only would if real interest rates remained roughly constant. If anything the real interest rates will rise due to the strengthening economy, and the feds will ensure nominal interest rates remain near zero. We should start to see deflation and the USD regaining some of what it recently lost.

Zillow Group Plmqaxedvo Feb 6, 2018

It seems that a lot of us here do not have a good understanding of the economy. It is a bit disappointing.

Microsoft i <3hooker Feb 7, 2018

Liberals generally dont.

Amazon xhk65s Feb 8, 2018

Liberals aren't the morons who crashed the market with an inflationary tax cut. Seriously. Trump borrowed money to hand it out to people, what could go wrong?
