Oculus, waymo applying
Can one interview at oculus simultaneously with another swe role at fb? How integrated the two are? Same q regarding google and waymo roles. Can one go thru process at waymo & google together?

You can interview with both. I know someone who interviewed with Oculus, failed the interview because the interviewers didn't ask any VR questions, interviewed with FB as a generalist, got in, and went to work join Oculus. The same thing is probably possible for Waymo since FB & Google make it really easy to transfer internally if you have skills useful to the new team.
They failed oculus, but joined oculus by coming in thru fb? Same time interview for both, or a cooldown period after oculus fail?
This is completely false for Google & Waymo. Not easy switching from Google team into Waymo, at least not as easy as you make it seem.
Yes, you can interview independently with Google and Waymo. We have separate funnels, and make separate offers.
