I am making a comparison table for compensations between multiple offers. Anything else I should be considering besides base/stock/401k matching/target bonus?
Sign-on bonus. Also consider RSU vesting schedule...after year 1 do they vest monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual? Matters if/when you want to leave before all your rsu has vested. May not be important, but small perks like free bus pass, mobile phone, or paid home internet might be relevant.
Also on the vesting schedule: is it 25% year over four year or some more elaborate / inequal split over the four years
Ahh yes that is a good point. How much more/less should I value RSUs from a public company vs pre-IPO? Hard to quantify the difference
Flexibility eg can you WFH sometimes, interestingness of work, colleagues, ops load, is the role developmental for you or is it a dead end?
