Has anyone (especially first time buyers) bought a house in the Bay with open listings? How did it go?
I used it and it was great. Most people donβt need the agent to come with you to the open house since all they really do is open the door. You save 50% on realtor commission by buying through them and they take a hands off approach by not pressuring you so I preferred that. I save $10,000 that I otherwise would have paid to a realtor and openlistings answered every single question I had. They are still local agents... Price estimates are based off of MLS and agent got me below asking. Highly recommend
Find a good realtor. My realtor gave 50%
I tried using it. Donβt recommend it. The Agent does not come with you to see at Open house. So he estimates the price without even seeing the home. Also Bay Area agents prefer to deal with someone local.
