I’ve read online that its good to put your relocation date on your resume to the city you are trying to move to. There’s other sources that say to simply exclude your location for better chances at being considered. - Do any of these actually help? Any advice on the best way to navigate being an out of state candidate? Thanks for your help!
Thanks for posting! I'm also looking to relocate IF I can find a good company and position (& for Blinders TC 😉) so I still haven't changed the location on my resume. In all of my job applications however, I do include relocation. Any other recommendations? Also re: LinkedIn I don't want to change it because I don't want certain people to know.
Change your LinkedIn location to where you want to relocate.
If they ask if I’m in that city, do I just tell them I’m planning to relocate there by X date?
