PM vs Data Scientist

I have two offers going atm. A data scientist role with a small consulting company where I would be designing solutions using Google Cloud Platform. Also, a pm role at an AI startup that was recently featured in top 100 AI startup of the world and has 100mn+ funding. Both jobs are in Pennsylvania, where cost of living is relatively low. The product company is offering equity and a higher base salary but I wont be doing a whole lot of Ml modeling and coding that I love. The consulting company is really small but is taking on intersting projects in retail and advertising domains.

Any help in deciding would be greatly appreciated.

A pm who understands data science is more exotic than a beautiful woman who wants to date me. you'll be one of a kind.

Take AI startup. At a startup roles are pretty flexible. You can still work with the data science team and build models as a PM. No one's going to stop you from taking more responsibility.

Go with the AI startup. If you are a PM who can code and have AI experience you’ll be extremely rare and highly sought after. Carnegie Mellon grad?
