Pet peeve while eating out
It drives me crazy when I go to a restaurant and the server doesn’t write down the order(s). Eg - today I stopped by a restaurant in LAX while waiting for my flight. It’s busy and I ordered a grilled fish taco with corn tortilla. The waitress proceeded to bring me a fried fish taco with flour tortilla. Grrrr. Write down the orders. Your memory isn’t that good! I’m not a jerk so I still tipped 20%. 😕 What’s your pet peeve?
I would’ve tipped only 10%

My pet peeve is the tipping culture in which even bad service is worthy if extra money. Pay wait staff a living wage and dump tips.
You do realize your meal will be 20% more expensive and that waiters will be even less motivated to go above and beyond right?
Particularly when eating alone, I don't want waiters to go above and beyond. I don't need them at all. I'd gladly walk over to the kitchen and pick the dishes up myself. Service just isn't that valuable.
