I'll keep this short. I work at a car dealership and have noticed my boss lose his temper nearly everyday. He insults his employees and consistently talks behind their back with out subordinates. The other day when the sales team was putting up the Christmas tree, he came in already angry at something else and yelled at them to take down the tree, just being he was already angry. Have any of you experienced a boss like this?
Find a new job. No point getting abused.
+1 on talk to hr and make sure you have something in writing for paper trail. (Not all hr can be trusted)
Print out the article about car dealership shooting and leave it on his desk https://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2019/06/25/3-dead-workplace-shooting-morgan-hill-ford-dealership-apparent-murder-suicide/
Find a new job and quit! Not worth the abuse. Look for transferable skill sets that may lead you into a different industry.
Sounds abusive. Petulant is too mellow for what he is. He needs therapy for anger management. Talk to HR.
