What does Zoom even do again? Lol. Surprised to see that it's doing better than Pinterest today.

Zoom is currently the best player, with super high reliability and ease of use, I would say that GoTo is a close second, but doesn’t “feel” new or cool. Blue jeans used to be great, but will probably die within 3 years.

You can lol all you want but if people actually pulled their heads out of their ass on blind and actually followed companies that weren't insanely unprofitable and over hyped youd see that zoom actually has a business model that makes sense and makes money. Usually a recipe for a successful IPO... So everyone else can go continue to chase the highest TC at you can find at your neighborhood over valued decacorn while you have people who just made a killing for joining a company with a good product and were willing to put in the work. Shocking! Good for them.

Zoom is profitable already and its user growth is growing fast. That is why it is valued more than Pinterest despite less brand recognition and half of revenue. B2B is lucrative and long lasting business as opposed to consumer business. Pinterest cannot survive with Pinterest alone as people will eventually lose the interest. Look how quickly gaming industry changes and MySpace as examples.

Just to burst your bubble OP, if you use slack, starting a zoom meeting is as simple as typing zoom on chat. It’s all about convenience and ease of use. WebEx sucks in that regards and makes remote meetings a nightmare. I’ve used both and zoom tops for me

Pinterest is spam, all the same photos surface over and over and over again, 50% are ads. From a UX perspective it feels like no one touches or tweaks the search experience for users. Which is basically the only experience Pinterest has.

Skype for business is terrible for your customers, their plugins are simply terrible, so new participants always suffer a horrible experience until they can join the call, and when they do .. sharing slides is laggy and unstable. Hangouts seems to be only used in Google, I haven't met any other corporation using it. And when meeting Googlers, the system feels like a end-user platform, doesn't feel professional
