Please advice - Google Interview
My recruiter tells me that I am moving to team fit calls. Does that mean HC is already done or does that mean it would be after the fit call? What to expect in Fit Call? Is it another interview? What to look for from my side for the fit call? How long does it take after the fit call to get an offer? it's been 3 weeks since my onsite and over two months since the interview process started..
My recruiter told me exactly when my HC was and told me that I passed right after the meeting. So I think it's before you go to HC.
Google usually does team match before HC if interview performance is borderline. Team match calls are non-technical informal talk with a manager. They will talk about your background and their team. Do ask questions.
What is HC?
Hiring Committee. A group of people that look at candidate’s experience + interview results and decide yes or no.
It will be explicit when HC is done. Recruiter will tell you beforehand when it will be, and will tell you the result. Fit call is casual, not really an interview. A call with the hiring manager to see if you have specific skills, experience, etc. Also a chance for you to ask about the position, team, product, etc.

After you find a fit, probably 3 weeks to do HC, compensation, background check. But finding a fit could take anywhere from a week to a month or more.
