hi blind, im looking for some perspective. I had an onsite at FB and its been radio silent since. I was told post onsite i would hear back by lastest the following week. ive already followed up with my recruiter last week without a response. in this case, is it most likely a no as i dont even know if i did well enough to go to committee? Edit: can the FB referrer see if you got an offer or got passed to committee?
Sorry u are not their first choice... they will keep u hanging for a while
Two weeks is a āthe other candidates declined and maybe weāll bring you back for another onsiteā
Could be the candidate review committee, sometimes they take longer than expected. Honestly your recruiter is probably fighting for you to get an offer, but they cant tell you that bc of the "no feedback" policy. Give it a little time, it's not necessarily a no! If you have other offers on the table definitely disclose that to your recruiter, that might help move the needle.
Yeah they take time .. sometimes the recruiter sends email to the wrong email id. Happened with my wife.
This is like the 100th weekly post on "did I fail an interview or not?"...
Could be so many things, and all out of your control. Donāt sweat it, keep interviewing for other roles at FB while you wait on this one.
Thanks! Iāll keep my fingers crossed
*perspective, before you get trolled
Thanks! Dang these fingers. I definitely would have, haha
Yo! I've a telephonic round with FB coming up this Monday. And 2 weeks is fine, could be that they are setting up with teams/could be something else. Mail them once in 3-4 days with something like "A gentle reminder on previous request.I know you must be busy and I value your time.. Laalala.." Hope you make it. All the best!
